Cake & the Fly 0

Yummy

I like cake.

I wasn’t really going anywhere with that statement, just if you’re in the neighbourhood you know you can come to me if you need to get rid of some cake.

There also seems to be a fly in here who is rather attracted to my CD player. I think it has OCD because it cleans it’s self for about 5 minutes after it has landed on something.

I accidentally missed Thursday. I woke up today and went to the bank and thought, damn, the Jobcentre paid me early. Then I looked at my watch and thought, shit, it’s friday.

True story.

Something seems a little fishy here & its not the Seafood Pizza I had last night 0

Molyneux driven by past failure, apparently.

"The number of people who could potentially be playing games is huge".

And the actual number of people would increase greatly if you release the fucking game on all consoles and PC’s with native support for Windows, Linux & Mac OS.

Granted, I’m not totally insensitive to the fact time is money in game development but if open source developers can create a cross-OS games for free then why cant a multi-million dollar company create a cross-platform game.

The game will also let friends who are playing the game online around the world jump into each other’s Fable 2 world and play together.

"That's really, really important to me and the important thing about the games I am creating is if you share something with somebody, and if you both share something positive together, it's a much better experience," says Molyneux.

Spouting nonsense like that but limiting the game to only the 360 seems a little hypocritical to me!

Little Hobby Bastards!

I’m having at you!

Yes Fable 2 does look like a pretty swish game but to complain that you would like more people to play it and then only release it on one platform just seems stupid.

Pete may have a great brain for creating fantasy worlds and better then average entertainment but it seems he lacks any common sense.

I may be way off the mark. It’s just I don’t really ‘believe’ in “exclusive” titles. Getting people to accept video games as a form of art is pain enough, without people in the industry limiting it’s own player/fan base which directly affects the amount of people who are actually going to play experience said art.

Now excuse me while I go vomit. Damn this jippy stomach of mine!
Later.

So,

Not really much has changed since the last Life post but I will try my best to write something fairly interesting to read.

I’ve been feeling rather strange the last two weeks. In sort of a constant state of light headedness if you will. I don’t think not going to bed for four days in order not to miss a day at First Move was much help either because I passed out on Thursday night and didn’t wake up till late night Saturday & Sunday for a few hours, when I set off a Fractal render; then passed out again till 10pm tonight [Monday].

So,

It’s been about a month since my last real post. I remember it well, it was a Sunday. The sun was shining You could see the sun.

Anyways, shit’s pretty much the same as it was a month a go, sept I am now using Linux (Ubuntu). All the frustrations I got from using Windows just to play games, ain’t worth the years that motherfucker is going to put on my skinny ass. Since Ubuntu was the only distro I had a hard copy of and its the friendliest I’ve come across. As far as games go, I’ve installed Open Arena, Nexuiz, America’s Army and UT2003; oh and Steam + TF2 using WINE.

My Linux desktop is still a little boring, well aside from the wallpaper that is! check it out! God I love me some G. Anderson. I think I will hit up google for some interesting Screenlets & spice things up a little!
