Shit, it’s always something

I hate you!

Well as you can probably guess my computer problems are not over. Even though the new RAM my brother sent me solved the Memory Management BSOD vista threw at me every once and a while, it hasn’t sorted out my ‘only able to play games for 10 minutes sept for Sacred’ problem.

When I first formatted my PC and stuck Vista on my SATA2 drive instead of the old IDE one it was on, I could run it on all 4GB of RAM and I got about 2 hours of Fallout 3 run time (on high settings :)), it was fun but you could tell it used the Oblivion engine, then my damn PC just froze and it did the same thing it was doing last time. I had to take 2GB out for it to boot into windows.

So at the moment its yay! for clean new install & no BSOD but boo for not having solved the big problem. Come to think of it, I do remember that an old friend of mine said that he had trouble with a 9800 he was trying to install, he tried 3 different PSU’s before it worked, he said it wasn’t a power issue because he got it working on a 500W PSU but it seemed to be some kind of hardware conflict. So most likely its that, once my friend Jamie comes back from tour I will ask him what PSU he is using because it worked perfectly on his PC. Then its just save up and hope that sorts it out.

Anyway, that’s all from me for now.

PS. My head is still throbbing from my little spill the other day. XD

Later.
